According to Stoner, we understand administrative information systems as computerized information systems to make planning, decision making and control more effective.
Data are unanalyzed numbers and facts. Information is the result of having organized or analyzed the data for some purpose.
Within the information, it is important to consider the following aspects: quality, opportune moment, quantity and relevance.
We have that the information is different for each administrative level, these levels are:
1. Operations control.
2. Middle management.
3. Senior Management.
Finally, we find it relevant to mention artificial intelligence, which refers to the use of a computer to simulate the characteristics of human thinking.
